A fresh look at Ibiza

Auto Date Friday, August 22nd, 2008

Ibiza has long been one of the world’s premier summer-sun holiday destinations, although in recent years many visitors (including myself) have been put off by the seedy ‘Ibiza uncovered’ style publicity that the island has received. Thankfully, the White Island is now moving away from this tacky lads-on-holiday image, and is once again attracting a more up-market style of tourism.

This is hardly surprising if you take a moment to consider what Ibiza can offer to the discerning visitor, with fabulous white beaches adored by the rich and famous for decades, unspoilt pine forests, white-washed villages, a whole range of restaurants offering the best of world cuisine, world-famous nightlife and some of the friendliest locals you will ever meet.

Ibiza is again becoming ‘the’ place to be seen, so for those after a piece of the limelight, strut your stuff through the old Ibiza institution Pacha, or have a long lunch on the beach at the Jockey Club, and you are guaranteed to be rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous.

If you are looking for a relaxing week away from it all, take my advice and go in early May; the weather is perfect, and the island is all but deserted compared to the madness of August. You will get beautiful beaches all to yourselves, and great service at all the restaurants.

The level of service has improved greatly as well, with activities such as water sports, hot air ballooning, mountain-biking, boat rental and yoga easy to find and well-priced. For the full rock-star service, I would recommend hiring a villa complete with chef, maid and chauffeur; some villa rental agents are even offering a concierge service through which you can book tables at exclusive restaurants, get VIP tickets to the best clubs or arrange other services such as masseurs in your villa.

If you are planning your summer holidays, think twice before rejecting the idea of Ibiza as your chosen destination…I think you will find yourselves as pleasantly surprised as I was.

I reccommend checking out the following websites for fantastic holiday accommodation and a complementary concierge service, not only ion Ibiza but worldwide

Dangerous Decorating: Improvements that Lower the Value of Your Home

Auto Date Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Reality television home improvement shows are no doubt fun to watch. It is amazing to see a small room or entire home transformed into a show place. Some of the most unbelievable transformations are on children’s rooms. They will take a theme like the racecars or princesses and make a child’s dream come true.

As a Realtor, my favorite part of the show Trading Places: Boys vs. Girls, is at the very end when the parents arrive to see the redecorated room for the first time. Whether there are ropes hanging from the ceiling, a psychedelic paint job or artificial grass on the floor, the reactions are priceless. Sure they are saying “awesome” for the television cameras, but are they really happy with the new rooms? As a parent, I know how quickly kids grow out of favorite toys, colors and activities. A theme-based room could be hard to transform back to a normal room when the fad passes or child grows. And what if you have to sell your home? How will potential buyers view that boat on the ceiling or the chalkboard walls?

This isn’t just something that happens on television. People really do crazy things to their homes and it’s not always for their children. Whether it is a unique wall treatment or an indoor hot tub, some people’s individualism hurts the value of their homes.

Here are some of my favorite, unbelievable things I have seen in people’s homes and how the remodel deteriorated the estimated value.

Playground Swings in the bedroom. This family removed a wall from two adjoining bedrooms to create one large room and bolted two playground swings to the ceiling. This home was 1700 ft.., split level home with 3 bedrooms prior to removing the wall. It is now an odd two bedroom. Combined with the possible extreme damage to the structure of the home depending on the weight of the persons using the swings this home would have lost thousands of dollars of market value.

Crinkled grocery bags glued to the wall instead of wallpaper. It is a nice unique look but since it will be difficult, if not impossible to remove, you will need to find a buyer who likes the look as much as you did.

Multi-colored hand painted murals and stenciling painted on walls throughout the home. This can be beautiful to the owner but because it is uneven, it is difficult to repaint. Often sanding and several layers of special primer are required to remove.

Indoor hot tubs. Unless you are installing in a four-season porch, think twice about this, especially if you live in a cold weather state. It just doesn’t make any sense. I have seen them installed in bedrooms and family rooms. Many were professionally installed. Most buyers still didn’t like them because they took away living space. Often buyers were concern about the installation. What if it leaks? Will it wreck the foundation? Does the steam cause mold? Even if the sellers offer to remove the hot tub prior to the closing, buyers have so many concerns that they will walk away from the home. Again your improvement reduced the value of your home buy tens of thousands of dollars.

So does this mean a person shouldn’t personalize their home at all? Of course not!
It is your home after all.

What I am suggesting is that when you are considering a home improvement or trying the next decorating trend, remember that your home is your biggest investment and asset. Put the hot tub on the patio, deck or four-season porch. Swings belong in the backyard. And wall treatments need to be removable and easy to repaint. Make your decisions with this in mind and your home will be beautiful and pocketbook will be protected.

How To Cope With And Reduce Stress

Auto Date Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

I have always struggled to live a stress-free life. I worry about almost every aspect of life and living this way has caused me a lot of problems including various bouts of ill health from time to time. I needed to find a way of coping with and reducing the amount of stress in my life and in this article I write about how I have managed to achieve this.

I suppose my main areas of anxiety have been to do with relationships with my friends and with members of the opposite sex, financial, for example worrying about money and also work related stress.

I am the kind of person who is classed as a thinker. I basically think far too much about personal matters. This thinking is very much in a negative manner and is a cycle which I have found hard to break.

About a year ago I was invited to appear on a national radio show to talk about my occupation which is website promotion and website marketing. I was due to talk live on this radio program at around 2pm. All morning as was my way of course, I was thinking and worrying about how I would come across to other people. I was afraid that I would make a fool of myself and would sound like a bit of an idiot. I also, for whatever reason, started to stress about whether I would be able to remember, under the amount of pressure that I was likely be under, the important aspects of my occupation which people would be interested in.

I was getting myself into a bit of a state and even thought about phoning up to cancel the interview. I then called up a good friend of mine who has always provided me with sound advice. I explained about the radio show and about my fears. He stated that I needed to relax and to even look forward to the experience. It would, he continued, be a chance to promote my own services and therefore was something to be grateful for.

He advised me that what I needed to do was to keep myself busy. If I am very busy, I would not have any time to think in my usual negative way. He informed me that my main problem was that I had too much time on my hands, which results in me spending far too much time thinking and worrying.

This is something I had realised a few years before but had in truth not acted on. I thought about what my friend had said and then decided to get stuck into some much needed gardening. I am happy to let you know that the radio interview went fine.

I have now learnt from this experience and whenever I start to worry or stress, I quickly get to grips with some job, for example housework. This soon takes my mind off the fear and is the best way to stop me from over thinking.

A vacation cruise offers tremendous value. With the price of your cruise ticket, you get your efficient yet comfortable stateroom with housekeeping that seems to be never ending. The pampering service that you receive is exceptional in terms of resorts. You receive all on-board meals. In the case of the mega ships, this can mean a choice of elegant dining rooms with mouth watering presentations. These floating resorts provide a number of athletic activities that can range from volleyball and basketball to rock climbing and ice skating! And when the sun sets, the ships turn into “entertainment central”. From Broadway and Vegas style shows to intimate lounges to rocking discos, the mega cruise ships offer it all!

Add the interesting and educations shore excursions at the various ports-of-call, and everyone gets an appreciation of how others live. Special menu offerings for children make dining a breeze. 5. The simplicity of cruises for vacationing!

With a little investigation up-front, your cruise vacation is as simple as booking… then enjoying! Once on board, your time is your own - no pressure to be here at this time and there at that time. Enjoy your vacation and return from your cruise refreshed (not needing a vacation from your vacation). Do as much - or as little - as you like! Nearly all expenses are paid for with your cruise ticket. A little spending money is about all you need. Talk about simple - come on board and have everything looked after for you! Now that’s a vacation!

4. Romance and cruise vacations!

For hundreds of years there has been a romantic mystique about the seas. What could be more romantic than sailing off into the sunset while sipping a glass of fine wine on your private balcony? Perhaps strolling arm in arm on an elegant formal night with your better half dressed to the nines. What about a honeymoon to some of the most romantic ports in the world? Perhaps a quiet secluded cove with white sandy beach. Enjoy each others’ company at a quiet table in one of the intimate lounges. Or dance into the night under the stars. Take a while and lose yourselves while utilizing the spa services for two. Nothing could be more romantic than a cruise vacation!

3. Vacation cruises’ pampering service!

For many people, nothing is more important for enjoyment while vacationing than service. If you receive good service, you are content. Be prepared to have your socks blown off! Most cruise lines train there staff in the fine art of customer service. Your room steward or stewardess will do their absolute utmost to ensure that your stateroom is kept just the way you like. From the bartenders to the wait staff to the activities staff, each cruise staff member’s aim is to please. On our last cruise, our wine steward and the table staff in the dining room were absolutely wonderful. When you board your cruise ship be prepared to be pampered!

2. Cruise vacation dining!

Many people will tell you that this is the number one reason for taking a cruise. The fabulous menu options have your mouth watering. Then the presentation arrives and you are certainly not disappointed. The main dining rooms are places of elegance and formality. Most ships have alternate dining options as well - some with a small cover charge. There are usually casual dining options as well. Some ships have poolside grilles and some even have 24 hour pizzerias as mentioned earlier. Most offer 24 hour in-suite dining as well. And don’t miss out on the midnight buffet! Arthritis Relief and Your Diet

Auto Date Friday, August 15th, 2008

Arthritis affects more than 40 million Americans and is referred to as the
most common chronic disease in people over 40.

Doctors believe there are over 100 different forms of arthritis, all sharing
one main characteristic: they all cause joint inflammation.

What can you do to relieve the symptoms of arthritis? A lot.

There is a great deal of debate in the medical world about the effects of overall
diet on arthritis and using diet toward alleviating the condition.

Doctors have known for a long time that diet affects gout, a specific type
of arthritic condition, however the jury remained out for a long time on other
common types of arthritis such as rheumatoid and osteoarthritis.

What is known however, is that overall dietary health is important and does
come into play. Weight and nutrition are two factors that play a role in arthritic
pain.

Being overweight can affect certain arthritic conditions, forcing some joints
to carry more of a load. This added weight stresses the joints, causing overuse
or more wear to components, and pain, especially in the knees.

If you suffer from arthritis make sure you eat good foods and get help from
healthcare providers to create and follow a well-balanced dietary plan.

To begin with, here are some vitamins, minerals, foods, supplements and herbal
applications to consider.

Vitamins that have shown to reduce tissue swelling or provide relief include
Vitamins B5, B6, B12, the antioxidant vitamins C and E, and vitamin K, which
improves bone health.

Several independent studies have found that rheumatoid arthritis patients given
increased doses of zinc showed marginal improvement.

Other minerals to consider include Boron, Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese (not
to be taken with calcium), Copper, Germanium and Sulfur.

The National Institutes of Health is studying the food supplements, glucosamine
and chondroitin, for use in relieving symptoms of pain and stiffness for some
persons with osteoarthritis.

Patients with osteoarthritis taking blood-thinners should be careful taking
chondroitin as it can increase the blood-thinning and cause excessive bleeding.

Fish oil supplements have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
Increasing dietary fish intake or fish oil capsules (omega 3 capsules) can relieve
inflammatory conditions like arthritis.

For more information, see Omega
3 Fats

Glutathione is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties and can be
safely boosted by consuming its precursors available in the supplements, N-Acetyl-Cysteine
(NAC) or undenatured whey protein.

For more information, see Glutathione.

Quercetin is also known to help reduce inflammation, while Type II Collagen
plays a role in growth and repair of joints, articular cartilage and connective
tissue.

Because of the risk in overdosing, one should be discouraged from taking doses
of vitamins that are higher than recommended without a physician’s direction.

Some vitamins and minerals can actually worsen certain conditions, and the
concentration that can be attained through vitamins can be dangerous. It is
always better to increase in vitamin or mineral intake through your normal diet.

Foods To Avoid

There are many factors to consider with regards to arthritic diets and nutritional
healing, and each factor may not apply to each individual.

For example, certain people are allergic to specific foods, and these allergies
can indeed worsen arthritic conditions. The best way to approach the situation
is to examine each arthritic condition and tailor one’s approach based upon
the specifics.

Ingesting foods that contain sodium nitrate or tartrazine can inflame rheumatoid
arthritis, while ingesting foods containing a substance called hydrazine can
contribute to an arthritic condition connected to lupus.

Black walnuts can cause flare-ups in people a rare type of arthritis called
Behcet’s Disease.

With osteoarthritis, deterioration of cartilage is a concern. Since there is
some evidence that Vitamin A, contributes to cartilage deterioration, those
with osteoarthritis should avoid large doses of it.

Although clinical proof is not available, anecdotal evidence suggests that
in the case of fibromyalgia, eliminating wheat, dairy, citrus, sugar, aspartame
(Nutrasweet), alcohol, caffeine, and tobacco can provide relief.

Many nutritionists and naturopaths suggest that those suffering with rheumatoid
arthritis avoid dairy products all together, as they seem to exacerbate rheumatoid
arthritis flare-ups.

The report “I
Cured My Arthritis You Can Too” suggests that white flour aggravates
arthritis symptoms.

Strength Within

Auto Date Thursday, August 14th, 2008

For the twelve hundred hostages, most especially Timur Kasumova.

It’s a bright morning. The sun is smiling warmly on the just and the unjust as they busy about their daily routine. I personally have nothing much to do but get to the Post Office, send a permission slip, authorising Voicenet to publish one of my poems in their anthology. This done, I would come back home and work on my computer.

As I approached the Post Office, a TIME magazine caught my attention at a newsstand. Though I did not stop to pick it up but I glanced at it and on the cover read, “Slaughter of the innocents” in bold red. Then I walked away.

Walking away from such caption if it be a graffiti in a subway is easy. But when it is boldly written on the picture of a young boy, say age nine or ten; a frigid boy clothed in a blood stained panties, blood gushing out his nose and he’s crying passionately, I must say it is not easy to walk away if you are not heartless.

Paying for stamp, affixing it to my mail, dropping it in the big box from which letters would be sorted out; I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind. In fact, I almost messed up the stamp while thinking of that little stranger on a cover page.

Heroes are meant to appear on a cover page. Then what makes this boy a hero, I wanted to know? What if that boy is my son, will I walk away from him? What if that boy needs me to know what has happened to him? I can’t help from thinking of so many what ifs.

When ifs begin to stream into my mind, fear grips my heart. That moment I felt my heart taking twice it normal pace. I wanted something desperately, I wanted to go out to the Newsstand and pick up that face staring at me.

I got to the stand, but he was gone. The magazine was gone. It wasn’t sitting where I saw it the first time.

” I saw a mag right here and it- its gone. It’s a TIME . Of a little boy.”

“I sold it.” The vendor said smiling.

I almost strangled him for that.

“Can I have a copy please?”

” Sorry, it’s dated for September 13 2004. Don’t have another copy.”

He tried selling me a current edition. But I declined.

I could have ordered that same edition of that little boy if I had a credit card. I would simply go online; place an order for that old edition. But I can’t because I stay in that part of this planet where credit cards are like some UFO.

I tried other Newsstands but to no avail. That edition is sold out. All what these vendors are trying to do is sell me a current edition. I was left with no choice than to vanish into the rush crowd like every other person and try to come back to be who I amA writer.

But instead of going back home to stare into my white screen monitor, I took a cab and went down to the beach only to sit on a bench watching the waves and thinking about that little boy who survived the Beslan school siege in Russia.

After about an hour of living in oblivion, I heard a voice.

“Mind if I sit” she asked

I shook my head like I was being distracted by my girl friend while watching a football game. She sat beside me saying, thank you.

“I’m Helena Williams and you are?”

“Alfred, A.Z. Alfred” I took her hand as she says pleased to me you. I responded.

We sat in silence for say five minutes. And she broke it again

“I’m an editor of a local magazine”

“I’m a writer and a poet” I responded

” I’m here to read through some mags. Just want to be away from the office. I like doing it here from childhood with my mom. So, what are you doing here, thinking on a book or what? She asked pulling out some magazines from her big blue bag.

She froze, waiting for me to answer her question. But I just stared at her because I couldn’t find a word. Finally I simply said, “Just thinking.”

We both chuckled.

She placed some magazines between us, took one and buried her face in it.

I stared into space, wandering into the little boy world again. My eyes caught the magazines sitting beside me. And there it was, the edition of TIME that brought me here in the first place. I took it up. She looked at me puzzled.

” Can I read this? Been looking for it all day”

“Sure. It’s an old edition, you can keep it”

I thanked her, took it and walked away.

Back home, I flipped through the ads, politics and other pages that has nothing to do with my new friend. I got to the page with the caption, “Defenseless Target” and below the caption it reads, “close to 350 die, half of them children, after the Chechen rebels take an entire school hostage.” And I realised that I have more than just a little boy to meet.

Despite the fact that my friends have increased in number, my heart was captivated by a nine years old boy who was among the other twelve hundred hostages who celebrated the first day of school. And were kept hostage for three days. He was among those who were stripped to their panties. He was among those who were forced to either thirst to death dehydrated or drink their urines if they needed to live. He was among the little children who should be playing video game in front of some TV but were left with no choice than to stare at bombs, which designed the school’s gymnasium like some festoon of flowers. He was among those whose life the guerrillas have chosen to sacrifice to achieve their stupid desire. To make it worse for him, his mother was also held hostage.

Elena Kasumova, a teacher in the school, was strong from the first day when the school was taken hostage. But the third day, her hope was running out and that was when the unthinkable happened. She got more than a hope from her nine years old son, Timur Kasumova.

When Elena had chosen to give up, believing herself, her son, Timur and many others were going to thirst to death. Her son crawled close to her, massaged her feet, kissed her and told her stories about all the water and juice they would drink when they would be free from the hands of the guerrillas. He comforted her, renewing her strength to hang on.

And now five months later, as I sit here writing this inspiring true life story, I know Elena and her son, Timur, are somewhere in Russian (if they are still there) drinking all the water and juice he had told her about while trying to forget that painful experience.

Though you have read this story but what I’m trying to say to you is more than just the lines. You need know one thing. When tough time (challenges) comes your way and you have exhausted all your strength, there is always a little more strength within, which you need to break through. Timur Kasumova did that in the face of a hopeless situation some months ago. He hung on to the strength within.

Teenage Acne - Helping to Cope with Skin Acne

Auto Date Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Teenagers with acne may feel besieged by the sudden changes in their appearance. Puberty and acne have been known to go hand in hand. As if it’s not already hard enough for your child to see changes in their body, now they’ve been overwhelmed with acne! Unfortunately, teenage acne can severely damage your teenager’s self-esteem.

Male teenagers may feel insecure about their appearance, causing them to withdraw from social activities with the opposite sex. Females, on the other hand may hind behind make-up products such as foundation or concealer. These methods of “coverage” usually aggravate acne and cause further blemishes.

While acne is generalized as a “part of growing up,” there are many factors which contribute to teen acne. For instance, a diet which consists of soda, junk food, and greasy foods will invite acne. By all means, your teenager should have fun and snack every now and then. But over-indulgence of such treats is the primary cause of severe acne in teenagers.

Your teenage daughter may have a very hard time dealing with acne. After all, this is a generation that’s flooded in advertisements that define beauty. Very rarely do you see a teenage model, actress, or singer that shows obvious signs of facial acne. Nevertheless, these famous teenagers are not flawless by any means. With the right amount of lighting and airbrushing, anyone can appear flawless! It’s essential that you remind your teenager of this.

It’s important to inform teenagers that they are still attractive and look wonderful the way they are. By all means, boost the esteem! Never pick at your teenagers appearance, as it will only hurt their self-esteem. If a teenager feels ridiculed and ashamed, they will lash out–or worse withdraw from friends and family. This can lead to depression, which may or may not be temporary.

If your teenager has been facing stress they may become affected by acne. An increase in stress will promote acne amongst people of all ages. Your teenagers body will react to stress by releasing more oils throughout the skin. Which increases the likelihood of receiving acne. In order to keep blemishes at bay, your teenager should wash their face regularly.

Nevertheless, excessive washing with soaps and/or other medicated acne products may dry out the skin. This will result in further skin problems. Your teenager should also drink plenty of water to flush impurities from the body. This too, will reduce the symptoms of teenage acne.

Clearogen.com offers a new treatment for teenage acne that attacks the rot causes of acne instead of the symptoms. Visit Cleaorgen.com

Is It Time To Clean Out Your Closet And Get Organized?

Auto Date Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

Are you afraid to open your closet door because something may fall on your head? Is your closet so full of stuff that you can’t find what you need or worse yet, you have no idea what’s even in the closet? If so, it is definitely time to clean out your closet and get it organized.

Make sure you allow yourself enough time to complete the task. Once you get started, you don’t want to stop. Don’t let anything distract you from your task of getting the closed organized.

Now let’s get started. Take everything out of the closet one item at a time. As you take it out decide if you are going to keep it, give it away or donate it, or trash it. A good rule that I use is if I haven’t used the item in the last six months then it has to go. Keep your piles separated so that you don’t get mixed up.

Once everything is out of the closet then you can some storage units into your closet to add some space and help to keep things organized. If your closet only has a shelf and one rod to hang closes on, then it is a good idea to remove the shelf and rod and go out to your local home improvement store and buy one of those inexpensive closet storage systems. One this is installed; you will have doubled your closet space.

Now that the closet is ready, let’s get the items that you are keeping back into it. If you are using the two-shelf system now you may want to put all of your shirts on the top shelf and the pants on the bottom. I also group my items into different categories like: everyday clothes, eveningwear, and business attire.

Once you have everything inside the closet, step back and take a look at your handy work. Don’t forget to call someone to come and get the items that you are giving away or donating. And also make sure the stuff that is going into the trash actually makes it to the trash. DO NOT put it back into the closet! Enjoy your new organized closet you have earned it.

Approaching Childbirth the Second Time Around

Auto Date Monday, August 4th, 2008

As the birth of our second child quickly approaches, I am reminded of what a wonderful man I managed to marry. He stayed with me during the entire 36 hour ordeal last time and never gave up on me, even when I did. However, before we brave this joyful event again, there are a few requests that I would like to make of him …

Please remember to bring my suitcase this time. I didn’t spend hours meticuously packing it so that it can remain in the foyer of our home. There really are a few items in it that I might find useful during labor!

Please refrain from the urge to remind me that you were the one that said the childbirth classes were a waste of time and I’d forget how to breathe with the first really strong contraction. I will warn you now that for every time I hear that come out of your mouth, I can guarantee a week will be added to my “recovery time”.

When someone comes into the room while I’m in an awkward position, please make sure they close the door behind them. Although I’ve lost most of my humility by now, please allow me that small amount of dignity. I don’t think the cleaning crew really needs to know me that well.

When I ask you to go get the nurse to tell her it’s time for my next dose of Stadol, I really do mean now! Believe me, she won’t just happen to come back in the room when it’s time.

Please don’t whine to your friends and family how I nearly broke your fingers. You only think you know what pain is! Believe me, if I wanted to break something at this point, it wouldn’t be your fingers!

Once I’ve started pushing, I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t distract the doctor by screaming “Wow! Did you see that jump shot?” I could really use his undivided attention at this critical time, even if you’re afraid you’ll miss the game winning basket!

Please don’t tell me “Just one more push honey” unless you mean it. Although I’m sure you were well meaning, keep in mind that even though I am in intense pain, I can still count. It doesn’t give me much inspiration to hear you say that 10 - 15 times!

It is not necessary to comment on the size of the baby’s head as he is crowning. Trust me, I realize exactly how large it is!

And last, but not least, if you ask the doctor to put in an extra stitch this time, I *will* divorce you before you have the opportunity to find out how many stitches I ended up with!

Obesity and Children

Auto Date Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Obesity often gets its start in childhood. Obesity becomes a problem for children and this problem often continues as the child becomes older.

There are some things you can do to prevent obesity in children. Childhood and adolescence is difficult enough without adding obesity to the mix.

Some parents think it is cute when a young child will eat anything and lots of it. It may be cute for awhile but this
can lead to obesity. Other times parents use food as a reward and this can also be a problem. Find other ways to reward a child.

If parents insist that a child finishes everything on his plate, obesity can become a situation that is difficult to
contend with. Many children get into the habit of eating many meals a week at fast-food restaurants. Look at the fat and calories present in these foods. This can certainly lead to obesity in children.

As children get older they may spend after-school time eating snack foods that are not healthy. If obesity is becoming
a problem for your child or if you want to avoid the situation before it happens keep healthy snacks around the house. Read the labels before you buy the snacks your children will be eating. Have fresh fruit available and keep veggies washed and cut up in the fridge. There are all kinds of snack foods that are lower in fat and calories.

Is your child getting enough exercise? Millions of children come home after school and spend the majority of their
summer vacations in front of the television or video game with a bag of chips and a can of pop. Schedule time outside for riding bikes and playing games.

Obesity does not need to become a problem for children.
